The Greater Oklahoma City Parks & Trails Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to being a leading advocate for parks, trails, and public spaces in Central Oklahoma. The Foundation works with donors, community organizations, and government agencies to enhance our parks, trails, and public spaces through advocacy, education, programming, and grant-making opportunities.

The Greater OKC Parks & Trails Foundation wouldn’t be here without the support of The Oklahoma City Community Foundation. OCCF has long been known for making a difference in the greater OKC community regarding parks, trails, and public green spaces. Leadership Oklahoma City’s 10th Class project provided the vision, but OCCF facilitated the capacity building. From there, they incubated and still nurtured the organization.

We’re currently establishing projects to engage communities to get involved with the parks and trails around them. Through these projects, we hope to educate and inspire a deep love to explore our city. Our goal is to keep parks and trails within the Greater Oklahoma City district maintained through community efforts and create opportunities for individuals and organizations to get involved. We want to be a leading force that continues to build the love affair between people and this city we call home. If you want to support our mission, please get in touch with us at (405) 235-5603 or info@okcparksandtrails.org.
